Local guide walking with travelers during a cultural tour in Cafayate.

In the heart of the Calchaquí Valley—surrounded by red mountains, quiet rural paths and endless vineyards—a dream was born: Au Rendez-Vous, a project created to offer meaningful experiences in Cafayate that connect travelers with the region’s culture, history and authentic spirit. What began as a small idea inspired by love for Cafayate and its people has grown into a brand that welcomes visitors from around the world, guiding them toward a deeper, more sensitive way of discovering this extraordinary corner of northern Argentina.

At Au Rendez-Vous, we believe that traveling is not only about seeing landscapes—it’s about feeling them. Understanding their stories. Sharing them with those who know the land intimately. Every walk, every story, every poem and every photograph we offer is designed so visitors can experience Cafayate in an emotional, authentic and unforgettable way.

Our mission: creating experiences in Cafayate that connect deeply

From the beginning, our purpose has been clear: to transform the way travelers discover Cafayate. The experiences in Cafayate we design at Au Rendez-Vous go beyond well-known places. They focus on the stories, the voices, the encounters and the details that give life to the identity of the valley.

We want each visitor to leave not only with beautiful photos, but with meaningful memories, insights and sensations that remain long after their trip.

Our beginnings: a dream shaped by encounters

Au Rendez-Vous was born from the desire to share Cafayate exactly as locals experience it. Evening strolls in the town square, conversations with artisans, stories from small family wineries, poetry inspired by the desert wind, flavors that linger on the palate—these moments shaped the soul of the project.

Cafayate welcomes every traveler with sincerity and warmth. We wanted to be a bridge between visitors—often francophone, culture-focused, sensitive travelers—and the deep identity of the valley.

Our vision: cultural, human and mindful tourism

For Au Rendez-Vous, Cafayate is not just a destination. It is a living territory—rich in traditions, art, music, architecture and human stories. Our vision is built on three fundamental pillars:

1. Living culture

We transmit stories, poetry, architecture, music and traditions that make up the DNA of Cafayate.

2. Nature observed with sensitivity

We invite travelers to slow down, observe, and contemplate the landscape with presence and respect.

3. Authentic encounters

Each experience creates real connections with local residents, artisans, artists, producers and guides who carry the identity of the Calchaquí Valley.

Our essence: experiences guided by emotion

Our experiences in Cafayate combine cultural tourism with the art of storytelling:

  • Guided walks through the historic center filled with stories and hidden details.

  • Poetic experiences where architecture, history and emotion meet.

  • Visits to rural fincas to meet animals and experience countryside life.

  • Nature walks leading to beautiful, lesser-known landscapes.

  • A professional photography service to capture unforgettable moments.

Each experience is designed so the traveler feels they are part of a meaningful chapter during their time in the valley.

What we want for every traveler

Through Au Rendez-Vous, we want each visitor to:

  • discover Cafayate from a new perspective,

  • feel the warmth of local hospitality,

  • learn real stories,

  • connect with the poetic side of the valley,

  • and leave with a heart filled with unforgettable moments.

Because Au Rendez-Vous is, above all, an encounter:an encounter with Cafayate, with its culture, and with a different way of traveling.
